A nine-hole golf course, a swimming pool, a schedule full of social events and reasonable membership fees.

It sounds like – and is – Montezuma Country Club!

It's located about a mile west of town on County F-57 – also known as Diamond Trail Road.

The golf course sits atop rolling hills, which add to its challenge.

Club members also are proud of their 25- by 50-foot swimming pool.

Single, family, pool and social memberships to the club are available.

Golf carts are available for rental.

A spacious clubhouse can be rented, with meal service available. Or, you can just relax and grab a snack.

The club is private, but people living outside the Montezuma Community School District can pay greens fees and golf.

Thursday, May 17- Twilight Golf. 6:00 PM.

Sunday, May 20- Breakfast will be served in the Clubhouse from 8:00 AM to Noon. Everyone welcome!

Every Tuesday- Stagette. Course is closed to men after 3:00 PM. Meal will be served, $8.50.

Every Friday- Stag. Course is closed to women after 3:00 PM. Steak dinner, $13.00.
